Responsibilities

  • Drive to rural areas to install and service our devices on farm locations, ranging from 1-50 in a given day.
  • Disinfect tires and boots, climb feed bins (10–40 ft tall), and install sensors and small solar panels inside bins (installation typically takes 10–15 minutes).
  • Troubleshoot basic issues on field devices requiring service.
  • Adhere to biosecurity rules for each farm location.
  • Maintain accurate mileage records and time sheets.

Requirements

  • High school diploma.
  • Working at heights certification, with full understanding of fall protection equipment.
  • Clean driving record with ability to drive 8–10 hours per day.
  • Reliable smartphone with basic knowledge of usage and measurements.
  • Organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Great communication skills in English.
  • Positive attitude and service-minded approach.
  • Solid work ethic, high personal standards, and respect for others.
  • Trustworthy, prompt, and reliable.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions.
  • Physically able to climb and lift more than 50 lbs.

Skills (Useful but not required)

  • Experience working at heights.
  • Experience using power tools.
  • Experience working with electronics.

Field Technicians will be required to maintain and manage inventory at their home and drive to farms from their home location.
