About the role
The Fort Irwin part-time faculty pool is seeking a Counselor to provide counseling services to students at Fort Irwin.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to students at Fort Irwin.
- Assess student needs and develop appropriate intervention plans.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Counseling or related field.
- Licensed or license-eligible as a Professional Clinical Counselor (PCC).
- Experience working with military personnel and their families.
- Knowledge of military culture and issues relevant to counseling.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
