Part-Time Faculty - Legal Assistant (North)

About the role

Teaching Paralegal related course work. Applications for part-time faculty positions are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed if openings become available. These positions are not current vacancies. Instructors employed as part-time faculty are not entitled to all the rights, privileges, and benefits of regular, full-time employees. Part-time faculty are hired on an "as needed" basis and will work for the duration of time specified by the respective course.

Responsibilities

• Teach Paralegal-related courses using various delivery methods based on teaching area and student/college needs.
• May be required to teach evening classes and possibly weekend classes.
• May require physical presence at the assigned on‑site work location.
• Work for the duration of the assigned course on an as‑needed basis.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (or higher level degree).
• At least three (3) years' work experience working as a Paralegal or with paralegals.

Pay

Salary Grade: AH. Salary is based on the Board‑approved salary schedule for the current fiscal year (see Salary Schedule).

Schedule

• Part‑time faculty are hired on an “as needed” basis.
• Work for the duration of the specified course.
• Teaching assignments may include evening classes and possibly weekend classes.
