Basic Functions

This is a continuous recruitment for an applicant pool to fill part-time faculty (up to 67%) or temporary substitute assignments. Departments will refer to the pool as needed to fill temporary roles.

Requirements

  • Minimum Qualifications:
    • Any bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of professional experience, OR
    • Any associate degree and six (6) years of professional experience, OR
    • The equivalent. Transcripts must be included with your application.
  • Required: Forklift Certification
  • Desired Qualifications:
    • Ability to instruct classroom-type and practical training
    • Knowledge of hazards operating vehicles in the workplace
    • Knowledge of OSHA standards for powered industrial trucks
    • Ability to ensure skills are maintained at a high level and attend refresher training as needed
    • Knowledge, training, and experience to train powered industrial truck operators and evaluate competence
  • Sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students
