Part-Time Faculty - Environmental Health/Safety Tech (Central)

About the role

Teaching Environmental Health and Safety related course work.

Responsibilities

• Teach part-time Environmental Health and Safety courses.
• Work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Teach using various delivery methods based on student and college needs.

Requirements

• A minimum of three (3) years of working experience in the Environmental Health & Safety field.
• Absent of a degree, a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
• Certified Safety Professional certification or Certified Industrial Hygienist certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• An Associate of Applied Science degree (or higher level degree) in Environmental, Health, and Safety or related field.
• Significant industry experience may be considered in lieu of the educational requirement.

Skills

• Ability to teach part-time courses in Environmental Health and Safety.
• Experience with various teaching methods and delivery formats.

Schedule

Part-time faculty are hired on an "as needed" basis and will work for the duration of time specified by the respective course. A portion of teaching assignments may be evening classes and possibly weekend classes.
