Responsibilities
- Provide feedback to students and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
- Teach courses at times and locations that meet student needs.
- Hold regular conference hours.
- Recommend learning materials that support course objectives.
- Develop syllabi and materials, including laboratory activities, aligned with state, college, and departmental standards.
- Participate in the design of course content and materials that cover emerging trends in information technology and cybersecurity.
Requirements
- Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate hours in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a closely related discipline.
- 3 years of full-time work experience in cybersecurity, information technology, or related roles.
- Experience in cybersecurity operations, including but not limited to risk management, incident response, digital forensics, network security, threat analysis, security architecture design, and the implementation and management of cybersecurity tools and technologies.
- Familiarity with compliance standards and frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS, ISO/IEC 27001).

- Industry experience in cybersecurity and information technology.
- Ability to engage students with diverse backgrounds and learning styles.
- Proficiency in contemporary teaching methods and technologies.

Adjunct faculty are assigned to teach courses using various delivery methods based on the teaching area and the needs of students and the College, which may require a physical presence on campus.

Salary Grade: AH
