Part-Time Faculty- Criminal Justice

Part-Time Faculty position at the Homeland Security and Criminal Justice Institute. Teach 1-3 classes in Criminal Justice (CJS courses) in-person at the Arnold campus, Glen Burnie Town Center, Arundel Mills, partnering high schools, or online (synchronous and asynchronous).

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis and reside in Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, or the District of Columbia.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned Criminal Justice courses
• Assess student progress in meeting learning objectives through formal and informal assessment
• Meet deadlines for submitting grades, attendance, and other required information
• Adhere to safety procedures and departmental standards

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, or a similar field
• Experience in Criminal Justice relevant to CJS course offerings

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with the CANVAS learning management system
