About the role
Lakeland Community College seeks an instructor to teach two core chemistry courses: CHEM 1100 Elementary Chemistry I and CHEM 1500 General Chemistry.
Responsibilities
- Classroom instruction
- Maintain course records
- Grading
- Program and course curriculum development
- Teach CHEM 1100 and CHEM 1500
Qualifications
- Preferred: Ph.D. in Chemistry; experience teaching at a community college and broad-based training/teaching experience in chemistry
- Accepted: Master’s degree in Chemistry or a related field with 18 credit hours in chemistry
Compensation
Part-time faculty earn $792/unit of load.
