Part-Time Faculty, Certified Retail Analyst (CRA)

About the role

NorthWest Arkansas Community College (NWACC) seeks qualified applicants to establish a pool for part-time and/or substitute instructors in the Certified Retail Analyst (CRA) certification program. This program is designed to develop and prepare students for entry-level roles in the retail industry, focusing on fundamental retail analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in MS Office, Advanced Excel & Access for Database Management, Retail Industry Foundations, Retail Link Data Management, Retail Supply Chain & Replenishment, Retail Tools Integration, Retail Strategic Analysis, and Retail Analytical Techniques.
• Prepare students for entry-level retail positions, emphasizing sales and market share growth through comprehensive retail analysis.
• Utilize MS Teams for online instruction, teaching one night a week from 6:00pm – 9:00pm.

Requirements

• Seasoned/experienced retail industry professionals with at least 5 years of Walmart’s Retail Link Decision Support, Luminate Report Builder or Scintilla experience.
• Experience working during the day and taking classes in the evening.
• Knowledge of MS Office, Advanced Excel & Access, and retail industry foundations.
• Ability to teach multiple courses and manage course materials effectively.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience with Walmart’s Retail Link Decision Support, Luminate Report Builder or Scintilla.
• Extensive experience utilizing Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Tableau, Power BI, Power Query, and Power Pivot.

Skills

• Proficiency in MS Office suite.
• Advanced Excel and Access skills.
• Experience with retail industry software and tools.
• Excellent communication and teaching abilities.

$2,475 per Instruction Course
