Part-Time Faculty - Bachelor of Science Nursing (RN-to-BSN) (Central)

About the role

Applications for part-time faculty positions are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed if openings become available. These positions are not current vacancies.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses using various delivery methods based on the teaching area and the needs of students and the College.
• May require a physical presence at the assigned on‑site work location.
• Teaching assignments may include evening classes and possibly weekend classes.

Qualifications

• Doctoral Degree, preferably in nursing; or Master’s Degree in Nursing if the doctoral degree is not in nursing.
• Current Texas RN Nursing license.
• At least three (3) years of direct or related work experience in nursing, exclusive of teaching.

Pay

Salary Grade: AH. Salary is based on the Board‑approved salary schedule for the current fiscal year (see Salary Schedule).

Schedule

Part‑time faculty are hired on an “as needed” basis and work for the duration of the specified course. A portion of the teaching assignment may be evening classes and possibly weekend classes.

Benefits

Instructors employed as part‑time faculty are not entitled to all the rights, privileges, and benefits of regular, full‑time employees.
