Part-Time Faculty- Accounting

Part-Time Faculty position located at the Arnold/Main Campus. This role requires regular in-person presence on campus and at alternative locations, depending on class schedule and other assigned duties.

About the Role

The Business Administration department is seeking part-time faculty to teach at least one face-to-face course in accounting, including financial, managerial, and potential upper-level courses, beginning in the Spring 2024 semester. Familiarity with the Canvas Learning Management System is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess student progress in meeting course learning objectives through formal and informal assessment.
• Hold in-person or virtual office hours.
• Meet required deadlines for submitting grades, attendance, and other requested information.
• Adhere to safety procedures and departmental standards.

Requirements

• A master's degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field, OR an active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
• At least two years of full-time professional accounting experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience teaching college accounting courses.
• Availability to teach face-to-face or online synchronous courses during business hours (8:30 AM–4:30 PM).
