What Sets You Apart
This is a Part-Time Role. Locations: Bay Area - San Francisco, Palo Alto, Mountain View, Menlo Park, Oakland, Berkeley, and surrounding areas.
Your Mission
- Executive Protection & Presence: Provide a visible, reassuring security presence for executives and staff, while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Threat Response: Act as a first responder to security threats, including active shooter scenarios, within the client’s office suite.
- Security Systems Oversight: Monitor and inspect physical security infrastructure; locks, cameras, access control systems to ensure operational integrity.
- Incident Reporting: Produce detailed, timely reports on security incidents and maintain clear communication with GSPS leadership.
- Advance & Support Operations: Assist protective agents in field operations, including advanced walkthroughs, secure transportation, and body coverage.
- Protocol Enforcement: Enforce company policies regarding access, photography, and sensitive areas with professionalism and authority.
- Emergency Protocol Execution: Follow GSPS protocols during emergencies, prioritizing the safety of executives, staff, and guests.
- Area Sweeps & Surveillance: Conduct regular security sweeps and live monitoring of surveillance systems.
- Team Integration: Collaborate with visiting security teams and facilities management to ensure seamless protective operations.
You Bring
- Experience: Executive Protection, Emergency Response Teams (ERT), Protective Security Detail (PSD), or Residential Security Teams (RST)
- Certifications & Credentials: Valid Guard Card, Firearm Permit & CCW/LEOSA/HR 218, U.S. Passport & Driver’s License, High School Diploma or GED, American Heart Association BLS Provider OR HeartSaver CPR/AED/First Aid Certification, Completion of Executive Protection or Residential Security Academy
- Skills & Attributes: Command presence and confidence under pressure, Strong written and verbal communication skills, Tactical awareness and emergency response capabilities, Physical readiness and mental resilience, Discretion, integrity, and professionalism
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior military, law enforcement, or ERT experience, Specialized training in crisis management, emergency medicine, or incident response, LEOSA/HR 218 or multi-state CCW permit, EMT license strongly considered, but not required, Familiarity with Corporate and/or Residential Security Technologies, Tools and Processes
