Part-Time Event Services Technician - Audio Visual, Event Technology

About the Role

The Part-Time Event Services Technician is responsible for assisting with floor operations, including setup, strike, and operation of technology solutions in a hotel or hospitality environment. The focus is on delivering unmatched customer service to guests and clients.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all event sets and strikes are completed according to Company SOPs.
• Greet guests/clients before events and provide clear instructions on equipment operation.
• Provide continued communication with clients to ensure event success.
• Follow through on all client requests and look for opportunities to enhance events.
• Maintain accurate client event information within the Company’s business systems.
• Review daily invoices with clients and obtain signatures.
• Comply with Company security and safety measures, ensuring inventory is secure and in good working order.
• Report any lost, stolen, or damaged equipment immediately.
• Keep all Company-occupied areas clean, organized, and up to standards.
• Enhance technical skills in audio, video/data, staging, computer operation, and networking.
• Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Prior exposure to audio visual and/or hospitality industry.
• Computer proficiency (hardware, software, and networking).
