Part-Time Entry level Manager

About the Role

• Support your Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in achieving retail store targets by driving sales.
• In the absence of other management, open and close the store, ensuring safe and legal trading.
• Deliver sales through friendly and efficient customer service.
• Ensure customers have a fun and enjoyable shopping experience.
• Demonstrate Claire’s products and assist customers with queries using product knowledge.
• Process store deliveries, visual merchandising, stock takes, markdowns, and promotions.
• Perform ear piercing (full training provided).
• Ensure the store looks presentable and inviting.

Responsibilities

• Supporting store leadership in meeting retail targets.
• Managing store operations during opening/closing in the absence of other management.
• Providing excellent customer service to enhance the shopping experience.
• Maintaining store presentation, merchandising, and inventory tasks.
• Operating the POS system and handling customer transactions.

Requirements

• Some high school education required.
• Minimum 1 year of retail experience.
• Excellent verbal/written communication and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong understanding of mathematics and reading comprehension.
• Ability to stand during scheduled shifts.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
• Bending, stooping, extended reaching, and climbing ladders/step stools.
