Part Time Emergency Veterinarian

About the role

BluePearl Pet Hospital in South Charlotte, NC is seeking a part-time Emergency Veterinarian to join their state-of-the-art emergency and specialty hospital.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert care to critically ill or injured pets.
• Utilize cutting-edge diagnostic tools and perform life-saving procedures.
• Contribute to a collaborative and supportive multidisciplinary team of specialists.
• Engage with pet owners compassionately, providing clear communication on medical conditions and treatment plans.

Requirements

• Current North Carolina license or eligible for licensure.
• Experience in emergency medicine and/or specialties preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
• Completion of ACVECC certification preferred.

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
