About the role

Mercy Hospital South is a Level II Trauma Center with a thriving emergency department (ED) that sees approximately 85,000 annual visits. The hospital is a large tertiary facility with 796 beds and offers full specialty backup through immediate access to every major subspecialty on campus. The ED provides true 24/7 clinical support including in-house trauma surgery, ICU physician coverage, and 24/7 hospitalist services.

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine
• Experience in emergency medicine preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Current medical license in Missouri
• Passing score on the National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME) Step 3 exam

Skills

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage high acuity cases efficiently
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR)
