About the role

Right At School provides before and after school extended day programs focused on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment. Our mission is to inspire a love of learning, support schools, and give families peace of mind by building a team of mission-driven individuals passionate about fostering a love of learning and creating safe, engaging experiences for children.

Responsibilities

  • Review goals and updates, share ideas, discuss professional progress, encourage collaboration, and team accountability each day.
  • Prepare and lead structured daily fitness, activities, and curriculum that are both educational and enjoyable for all ages.
  • Maintain a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring children are enjoying themselves while also meeting program goals by modeling positive guidance and effective classroom management.
  • Monitor the environment, address potential hazards, and follow all safety protocols, including documenting attendance, incidents, and other observations.
  • Communicate effectively with a varied audience, including children, parents, staff, and school personnel.

Requirements

  • Meet state-specific requirements.
  • Have completed First Aid and CPR training in person.
  • Be cleared for tuberculosis.
  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Have a high school diploma or GED.

  • Works well in a team environment.
  • Flexible to support additional local programs as needed.

Pay

$16-19 per hour (depending on education and experience)

Schedule

Monday - Friday 2:35PM - 6PM
