Right At School provides local school districts with before and after school extended day programs focused on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment. Our mission is to inspire a love of learning, support schools, and give families peace of mind by building a team of mission-driven individuals passionate about fostering a love of learning and creating safe, engaging experiences for children.
Program Hours
Monday through Friday: 7:30AM- 8:30AM and 3:10PM-6:00PM
Pay Rate
$16.00-$18.00 (based on education and experience)
Daily Program Meetings
- Review goals and updates
- Share ideas
- Discuss professional progress
- Encourage collaboration
- Team accountability
Organize and Facilitate Daily Activities
- Prepare activities and curriculum for the day
- Ensure activities align with program objectives
- Lead structured daily fitness, activities, and curriculum
- Ensure activities are both educational and enjoyable for all ages
Maintain a Safe and Nurturing Environment
- Maintain a safe environment
- Model positive guidance and effective classroom management
- Monitor the environment
- Address potential hazards
- Follow all safety protocols
- Document attendance, incidents, and other observations
Effective Communication
- Communicate with a varied audience, including children, parents, staff, and school personnel
- Works well in a team environment
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age
- Ability to lift 25lbs
- Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed
New Jersey State Requirements
- Ability to meet state-specific requirements
- Cleared tuberculosis test
- Proof of MMR
- Proof of High School diploma/GED
