About the role

Educator Right At School provides before and after school extended day programs focusing on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment. Our mission is to inspire a love of learning, support schools, and give families peace of mind by building a team of mission-driven individuals passionate about fostering a love of learning and creating safe, engaging experiences for children.

Responsibilities

• Daily Program Meetings: Review goals and updates, share ideas, discuss professional progress, encourage collaboration, and team accountability.
• Organize and Facilitate Daily Activities: Prepare activities and curriculum for the day, ensuring alignment with program objectives. Lead structured daily fitness, activities, and curriculum that are both educational and enjoyable for all ages.
• Maintain a Safe and Nurturing Environment: Ensure children are enjoying themselves while meeting program goals through positive guidance and effective classroom management. Monitor the environment, address potential hazards, and follow all safety protocols.
• Effective Communication: Communicate effectively with a varied audience, including children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
• Prioritize Safety and Joy: Monitor the environment, address potential hazards, and follow all safety protocols. Document attendance, incidents, and other observations.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age preferred.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.

Qualifications

• Works well in a team environment.
• Ability to meet state-specific requirements.
• First Aid and CPR training in person.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Proof of High School diploma or GED required.

Pay

$16.00-$18.00 per hour (based on education and experience).

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 2:45 PM - 6:00 PM.
