Part Time Educator - Roosevelt Borough Public School District

Right At School provides local school districts with before and after school extended-day programs focused on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment to support the success of all students. Our mission is to inspire a love of learning, support schools, and give families peace of mind by creating safe, engaging experiences for children.

Pay

$16.00–$18.00 per hour (based on education and experience)

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–6:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily program meetings to review goals, share ideas, discuss professional progress, and encourage team collaboration and accountability.
• Organize and facilitate daily activities and curriculum aligned with program objectives, ensuring they are both educational and enjoyable for all ages.
• Lead structured daily fitness, activities, and curriculum while modeling positive guidance and effective classroom management.
• Maintain a safe and nurturing environment, monitoring for potential hazards and following all safety protocols, including documenting attendance, incidents, and observations.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living.
• Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.
• Meet New Jersey state requirements, including:
  • First Aid and CPR certification (in-person).
  • Cleared tuberculosis test.
  • Proof of MMR vaccination.
  • 18+ years of age.
  • Proof of High School diploma or GED.
