Part Time Educator (Oak Park, IL)

Job Summary

Right At School is seeking mission-driven educators to join our team. We provide safe, fun, and meaningful extended day enrichment programs for students across 17 states. Our goal is to inspire a love of learning, support schools, and give parents peace of mind.

About the Role

As an educator at Right At School, you will drive the mission by organizing program materials, delivering dynamic daily curriculum, and maintaining a safe and engaging environment for children. You will also communicate effectively with various stakeholders and participate in regular professional development.

Responsibilities

• Organize program materials for lessons and activities, and document attendance, incidents, and observations.
• Deliver our dynamic daily curriculum to engage children in academic and social character-building that expands school day learning in a meaningful way.
• Model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain the safety, well-being, and attention of all children while supporting homework completion, leading fun fitness activities, and guiding children at play.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
• Meet regularly with the Program Manager regarding professional progress and team accountability.

Pay

$17-20/hour (dependent on education and experience)

Schedule

Monday-Friday: 3:00-6:00PM, Wednesdays have an earlier start time (2:30PM). Hours may vary per individual school.
