Part Time Educator - Mayfield City Schools

Right At School provides local school districts with before and after school extended-day programs focused on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment dedicated to the success of all students. Our mission is to inspire a love of learning, support schools, and give families peace of mind by building a team of mission-driven individuals passionate about fostering a safe, engaging environment for children.

About the role

• You will have a "home base" location but may be asked to work at different schools within the district.
• Daily program meetings to review goals, share ideas, discuss professional progress, encourage collaboration, and ensure team accountability.
• Organize and facilitate structured daily activities, fitness, and curriculum that are both educational and enjoyable for all ages.
• Maintain a safe and nurturing environment by modeling positive guidance and effective classroom management.
• Monitor the environment, address potential hazards, and follow all safety protocols, including documenting attendance, incidents, and observations.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.

Requirements

• Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living.
• Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to meet Ohio state-specific requirements.
• In-person First Aid and CPR certification.
• Cleared tuberculosis test.
• Proof of MMR vaccination.
• 18+ years of age.
• Proof of High School diploma or GED.

Pay

$15.00–$18.00 per hour, based on education and experience.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 2:20 pm to 6:00 pm.
