About the role

Educator at Right At School provides before and after school extended day programs focusing on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment. The mission is to inspire a love of learning, support schools, and give families peace of mind by building a team of mission-driven individuals passionate about fostering a love of learning and creating safe, engaging experiences for children.

Responsibilities

• Daily Program Meetings: Review goals and updates, share ideas, discuss professional progress, encourage collaboration, and team accountability.
• Organize and Facilitate Daily Activities: Prepare activities and curriculum for the day, ensuring alignment with program objectives.
• Lead by Example: Maintain a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring children enjoy themselves while meeting program goals.
• Prioritize Safety and Joy: Monitor the environment, address potential hazards, and follow safety protocols.
• Effective Communication: Communicate with a varied audience, including children, parents, staff, and school personnel.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age (preferred).
• Works well in a team environment.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.

Pay

$16.00-$18.00 per hour (based on education and experience).

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM (Hours may vary based on assigned location).
