Part Time Educator (Grace Lutheran School)

About the role

Educator Right At School provides before and after school extended day programs focusing on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment. The position supports the mission of inspiring a love of learning, supporting schools, and giving families peace of mind.

Responsibilities

• Daily Program Meetings: Review goals and updates, share ideas, discuss professional progress, encourage collaboration, and team accountability.
• Organize and Facilitate Daily Activities: Prepare activities and curriculum for the day, ensuring alignment with program objectives. Lead structured daily fitness, activities, and curriculum.
• Maintain a Safe and Nurturing Environment: Ensure children enjoy themselves while meeting program goals by modeling positive guidance and effective classroom management.
• Prioritize Safety and Joy: Monitor the environment, address potential hazards, and follow safety protocols. Document attendance, incidents, and other observations.
• Effective Communication: Communicate with a varied audience, including children, parents, staff, and school personnel. Exhibit outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills.

Requirements

• Ability to meet state-specific requirements.
• Cleared tuberculosis test (ability to obtain within 30 days of employment).
• First Aid and CPR-in-person (ability to obtain within 30 days of employment).
• 18+ years of age.
• Proof of High School diploma/GED required.

Pay

$17-20/hour (based on education and experience)

Schedule

Mon-Fri: 6:50 AM-8:00 AM and 2:45 PM-6:00 PM, and Wednesdays: 2:00 PM-6:00 PM
