Part Time Ecommerce Clerk

Job Overview

Cub in Forest Lake is seeking a dedicated individual for a part‑time eCommerce position. Team members accurately and efficiently pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for pickup or delivery, contributing to an enjoyable online ordering experience through attention to detail and strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality selection of product.
• Execute on delivery times and order accuracy.
• Follow department safety and sanitation programs for selection, transportation, and delivery.
• Observe standards and procedures regarding store security and confidentiality.
• Communicate effectively with other departments and store staff.
• Provide comparable products for substitution when needed.
• Prepare orders for delivery by ringing up and bagging efficiently.
• Check expiration dates throughout the store during slow periods.

Requirements

• Operate equipment such as carts, box cutter, baler, and compactor.
• Ability to walk long distances and stand for extended periods.
• Strong memorization, reading, writing, and math skills.
• Ongoing customer interaction with prompt, courteous, and accurate service.
• Good judgment; ability to work independently when supervision is not immediately available.
• Understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing.
• Flexibility to work varying shift lengths, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.

Physical Requirements

• Lifting/carrying up to 70 lb.
• Pushing/pulling up to 50 lb.
• Walking on uneven ground.
• Reaching, bending, and repetitive motions.
• Exposure to hot equipment and cooking oil.

Schedule

Evenings and weekends. Shifts may vary in length and time, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
