Part Time Ecommerce

About the role

Cub Monticello is seeking a part-time individual to join their ecommerce team. Responsibilities include accurately and efficiently picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for pickup or delivery. The role demands attention to detail and strong customer service skills to enhance the online ordering experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality selection of products
• Execute on delivery times and order accuracy
• Follow department safety and sanitation programs
• Observe standards and procedures regarding store security and confidentiality
• Communicate effectively with other departments and store staff
• Provide comparable products for substitution
• Prepare orders for delivery by ringing up and bagging orders efficiently
• Check expiration dates during slow periods

Requirements

• Equipment operation (carts, box cutter, baler, compactor)
• Able to walk long distances and stand for long periods
• Memorization, reading, writing, and math skills
• On-going customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous, and accurate service
• Good judgment for handling situations without immediate supervision
• Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
• Write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing
• Work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be 16 years of age and older

Physical Requirements

• Lifting/carrying up to 70 lbs
• Pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs
• Walking on uneven ground
• Reaching, bending, repetitive motions
• Exposure to hot equipment and cooking oil

UNFI anticipates paying the above-referenced pay rate (or within the above-referenced pay range) for this position. Actual Pay, where applicable, will depend on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, training, and any requirements under applicable collective bargaining agreements.
