Part Time E-Commerce

Mankato West Cub is looking for a dedicated individual to join our team in a part-time eCommerce role. This position focuses on accurately and efficiently picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for pickup or delivery, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable online ordering experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality selection of products for customer orders.
• Execute on delivery times and maintain order accuracy.
• Follow department safety and sanitation programs for selection, transportation, and delivery.
• Observe store security and confidentiality standards and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with other departments and store staff.
• Provide comparable product substitutions when necessary.
• Prepare orders for delivery by ringing up and bagging items efficiently.
• Check expiration dates throughout the store during slow periods.

Requirements

• Operate equipment such as carts, box cutters, balers, and compactors.
• Able to walk long distances and stand for extended periods.
• Strong memorization, reading, writing, and math skills.
• Ongoing customer interaction with prompt, courteous, and accurate service.
• Good judgment, especially when direct supervision is not immediately available.
• Ability to follow verbal or demonstrated instructions, write identifying information, and request supplies.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Must be available to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements

• Lifting and carrying up to 70 lbs.
• Pushing and pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Walking on uneven ground.
• Reaching, bending, and repetitive motions.
• Exposure to hot equipment and cooking oil.
