(Part Time)- Direct Support Professional -all shifts

About the role

As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide primary support services to individuals with developmental disabilities, while fostering a teaching relationship that encourages healthy and productive personal growth, community inclusion, creativity, and independence.

Responsibilities

• Promote and support the appropriate level of independent living; which may include teaching, oversight, and hands-on assistance with the activities of daily living
• Encourage an individual’s engagement in social and community activities as well as appropriate physical/wellness activities
• Ensure an individual’s health and safety needs are being met
• Commit to being part of a team that creates and sustains a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace culture

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required
• Current and valid driver’s license (with fewer than 6 points) and vehicle insurance
• Ability to pass a background check (includes physical and a drug screen, and criminal check)
• Ability to work a flexible schedule (including evenings, weekends, and holidays)

Pay

• $17.25/hour with an additional $1.00 shift differential on weekends

Schedule

• 8 hour shifts
• 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts available
• 2 day a week or 3 day a week rotations
• Some shifts require Weekends or only weekends
