Part-Time Dietary Aide

About the role

Part-time position providing food service support in a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean, set up, restock, and sanitize steam tables for meal preparation and service.
• Tend to the food line, serve meals courteously to patients, staff, and visitors.
• Assist patients with basic dietary questions and break down the steam line after meals.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and dining spaces after each meal.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Cook or Food Service Manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferably experience in food service within healthcare or hospitality settings.
• ServSafe certification preferred.
• Knowledge of basic math, equipment use, cleaning, safety, and infection control practices.
