Part-Time Dentist

DOCS Health is a healthcare innovator providing on‑location comprehensive services to federal, state, local government agencies, and educational institutions for over 33 years. The organization is seeking a part‑time Dentist to deliver general dentistry services with an emphasis on oral surgery. DOCS manages all staffing, invoicing, and dental‑supply ordering, and offers direct clinical consultation with the Chief Dental Officer as well as malpractice reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Examine, diagnose, and treat patients in accordance with professional standards and the defined scope of service.
• Treat acutely symptomatic concerns.
• Perform routine and surgical extractions.
• Document each dental encounter using the SOAP format, update the patient’s health history, and obtain patient consent prior to care.
• Submit patient treatment logs to the Corporate Office after each dental visit.
• Provide dental services within designated hours of operation.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted State Dental License.
• Graduated from an accredited school of Dentistry (DDS/DMD).
• Experienced clinician preferred.
• Confident and proficient in surgical technique.
• Ability to lift portable dental equipment weighing up to 50 lb.
• Recent graduates who have completed a residency program are encouraged to apply.
