Part-time Dental Hygienist

About the role

Heiden Family Dental is looking for a compassionate, patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our growing practice. Join a team that values your expertise and work‑life balance.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to discuss oral health hygiene of patients as it relates to the mouth‑body connection.
• Review and update dental x-rays and chart notes while maintaining dental equipment and x‑ray machine.
• Record detailed narratives and probing depths for claims.
• Ensure OSHA/HIPAA compliance.
• Sterilize and maintain dental supplies.
• Successfully complete scaling and root planning and/or prophylaxis.
• Excel with placing fluoride varnish and sealants.
• Serve as a point of escalation for both patient and team relations.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and the team.

Qualifications

• Current certification from an accredited hygiene program.
• Current CPR certification.
• Demonstrates leadership and strong communication skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Dentrix/Eaglesoft dental software preferred.

Pay

$50‑$60 per hour (DOE) plus a $3,000 sign‑on bonus.

Schedule

Schedule: Thursdays 8 am‑5 pm and Fridays 8 am‑3 pm. Additional shifts may be available based on availability and interest; great opportunity for part‑time hours with potential for extra days.
