Responsibilities
- Providing preventive care
- Patient screening
- Maintaining accurate medical histories
- Utilizing dental tools such as Velscope and digital x-rays
- Patient education
- Cleanings
- Supporting overall oral health maintenance
Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in Missouri
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene
- CPR certification
Preferred experience
- Using digital scanners
- Diagnodent
- Electronic medical records
- Desire for ongoing professional development
Skills
- Excellent clinical knowledge
- Communication
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 45 pounds
