Part-Time Dental Hygienist

About the role

The Dental Hygienist will be a vital member of the patient care team, providing exceptional preventive and clinical dental services in a modern, state-of-the-art practice utilizing Dentrix.

Responsibilities

• Perform dental hygiene procedures, patient screenings, and medical history documentation.
• Deliver patient education and promote oral health maintenance.
• Support the clinical team with quality care and patient advocacy.
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, adhering to safety standards.
• Utilize digital tools such as digital x-rays, scanners, and diagnostic devices.

Qualifications & Skills

• Current dental hygienist license in Nebraska with an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene.
• Knowledge of dental procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience with digital x-rays, digital scanners, Velscope, Diagnodent, and electronic medical records is preferred.
• Strong desire to learn and grow clinical skills, with excellent communication and patient care abilities.

Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties, including sitting, standing, lifting up to 45 pounds, and attending training sessions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment with or without reasonable accommodations.
• TB test completion prior to employment (excluding certain states).
