Responsibilities

  • Perform clinical duties under the supervision of a dentist, including X-rays, periodontal charting, instrument setup, patient education, infection control, restorative procedures, and assisting with orthodontics.
  • Maintain accurate patient records.
  • Prepare materials.
  • Monitor nitrous oxide.
  • Ensure sterilization protocols are followed.
  • Led departmental operations (if applicable).
  • Train staff (if applicable).
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare standards (if applicable).

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Expanded Function Dental Auxiliary certification
  • Dental Assistant registration in Washington
  • BLS with AED
  • Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency
  • Basic knowledge of dental terminology, materials, and infection control
  • Strong manual dexterity
  • Professional interaction skills
  • Computer proficiency

Qualifications
