Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties under the supervision of a dentist, including X-rays, periodontal charting, instrument setup, patient education, infection control, restorative procedures, and assisting with orthodontics.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Prepare materials.
- Monitor nitrous oxide.
- Ensure sterilization protocols are followed.
- Led departmental operations (if applicable).
- Train staff (if applicable).
- Ensure compliance with healthcare standards (if applicable).
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Expanded Function Dental Auxiliary certification
- Dental Assistant registration in Washington
- BLS with AED
- Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency
- Basic knowledge of dental terminology, materials, and infection control
- Strong manual dexterity
- Professional interaction skills
- Computer proficiency
