Part Time - Dental Assistant

About the role

Support dentists and hygienists during patient treatments by preparing the operatory and instruments, sterilizing equipment, and maintaining dental records.

Responsibilities

• Assist during clinical procedures using 4-handed technique
• Obtain radiographs and prepare laboratory cases
• Ensure sterilization and proper maintenance of dental tools and equipment
• Document patient data electronically and support administrative tasks
• Prepare and disinfect operatory and materials between patients
• Monitor inventory and supplies to maintain smooth operations
• Participate in quality and operational improvements

Requirements

• Certification from an accredited Dental Assistant School
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Team player with a strong work ethic, punctuality, and attendance
• Computer proficiency, typing 40 wpm
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)

Physical & Work Environment

Requires standing, walking, and using hands extensively; work involves moderate noise and proximity to moving parts. Accommodations available for disabilities.
