Part Time - Deli Clerk

About the role

This role involves preparing and displaying food products in a clean, organized manner to ensure freshness, proper rotation, and customer satisfaction. It includes tasks like slicing meats and cheeses, wrapping deli items, stocking display cases, and unloading deliveries while maintaining sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and product suggestions.
• Process merchandise per guidelines and sanitation standards.
• Stock, rotate, and maintain display cases and equipment.
• Ensure a clean, safe work environment and follow safety practices.
• Assist with inventory management and report safety hazards.
• Perform additional tasks as directed by management.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to follow instructions and work based on business needs.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Physical & Safety Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Working in cold environments.
• Exposure to noise, slippery surfaces, and hazardous cleaning solutions.
• Must follow proper safety and sanitation procedures at all times.
