Part Time - Deli Clerk

About the role

The NOTC Clerk delivers exceptional customer service in the Service Deli and Bakery departments, supporting daily operations to create a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers
• Prepare and package deli and bakery items
• Maintain product quality and presentation
• Ensure food safety standards
• Stock and merchandise products
• Perform inventory control
• Operate equipment safely
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation
• Handle graveyard shift tasks such as stocking and preparing displays
• Address customer concerns and fulfill special orders
• Assemble baked goods and support stocking and organization efforts

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Friendly, helpful attitude with strong communication skills
• Basic math skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Food handling certification preferred
• Knowledge of bakery decorating preferred
• Ability to operate equipment safely
• Capable of lifting moderate weights
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including graveyard shifts
