About the role

Cub Shorewood on Highway 7 is seeking a Part Time Deli Clerk to join their team. The Deli team prepares and finishes products like meats, salads, and prepared foods to meet department standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Assists with food preparation.
• Provides customers with accurate, prompt, and courteous service.
• Sets, fills, and rotates deli cases and displays.
• Affixes signs and labels to products.
• Breaks down department and performs cleaning duties.
• Follows all store and department policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

• Equipment operation (compactor, coffee pot, pallet jack, highboy cart, box cutter, tongs, scales, Cry-O-Vac machine, steamer, slicer, wrapper, knives, chicken fryer, chicken hot case, food processor, pizza oven).
• Able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time.
• Memorization, reading, writing, and math.
• The position requires on-going customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous, and accurate service.
• Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.
• Must be able to work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be 18 years of age and older.

Physical Requirements

• Lifting/carrying up to 60 lbs.
• Pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Walking on uneven ground.
• Reaching, bending, repetitive motions.
• Exposure to hot equipment and cooking oil.
