Part-Time Daytime Cashier

Responsibilities
- Greet all customers when entering and exiting the store
- Promote the Scheels Visa Rewards card and explain its benefits
- Accurately balance cash drawer at the end of the day
- Maintain a clean working environment and personal work space
- Engage in conversations with customers to personalize transactions
- End each transaction with a "thank you" to the customer
- Maintain a professional appearance on the sales floor
- Contribute to a positive team atmosphere and foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Perform basic math calculations, read and understand simple instructions, and write simple correspondence
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues in various settings
- Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Assist with other duties as assigned

Medium work – Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 1-3 months of cashiering experience

Pay
$15.00 hourly DOE
Schedule
May include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be available for two weekends per month. Average hours per week are 15-25.
