Customer Service Representative

Responsibilities

• Aid customers inside and outside U-Haul centers with U-Haul products and services.
• Utilize smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Maintain and inspect equipment on the lot, including checking fluid levels.
• Answer customer questions and provide product and service education.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept returned equipment.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane tanks (certification provided).
• Operate a forklift (certification provided).
• Perform minor repairs as needed.
• Engage in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.

Requirements

• Fluency in English (additional proficiency in another language is a plus).
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to complete five-day training computer courses independently.
• Willingness to learn new skills and procedures.
• Ability to work independently, be punctual, and maintain attention to detail.
• Physical capability to bend, lift, and stand for extended periods.
• Comfortable using phones and computers.

Pay

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour based on experience.

Schedule

Part-time: 25 hours weekly with potential for additional hours. Weekdays and one weekend day per week.
