Part-Time Customer Experience Coordinator

About the role

Responsible for promoting an excellent customer experience. Oversees a team of Associates at the front of the store ensuring prompt, courteous service and promotion of loyalty programs. Leads by example, engages customers, maintains a clean and organized store, and role‑models outstanding service.

Responsibilities

• Promote a positive internal and external customer experience and a culture of honesty and integrity.
• Train, mentor, and coach Associates on front‑end principles and personalizing the customer experience.
• Assign registers, manage POS coverage, and coordinate breaks for all Associates.
• Address customer concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Ensure Associates execute tasks according to the store plan and prioritize as needed.
• Communicate priorities and progress updates accurately with management and Associates.
• Provide and receive recognition and constructive feedback.
• Partner with management on training needs to increase effectiveness.
• Enforce labor laws, company policies, and procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs and support store shrink‑reduction goals.
• Promote safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Available to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Strong understanding of merchandising techniques.
• Ability to multi‑task and respond appropriately to changes or unexpected situations.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Team player who works effectively with peers and supervisors.
• Ability to train others.
• Minimum 1 year retail experience and 6 months leadership experience.

Pay

Starting pay range: $14.00 – $14.50 per hour (actual rate determined by skills, qualifications, and experience).

Schedule

Flexible schedule required, including nights and weekends.
