About the role
The Thrive Customer Care Team helps retailers and merchants navigate our robust inventory management and reporting tools. This role requires a strong support background and a passion for helping businesses succeed.
Responsibilities
- Answer customer inquiries via live chat, email, phone, and video calls
- Provide technical assistance and guidance to customers
- Assist with billing, setup, and semi-technical questions
- Grow and contribute to the development of the product
Requirements
- This is a part-time position requiring 25 hours per week, typically 5 hours a day Monday through Friday, with the option to work until 7 PM ET
- Prior experience in customer service is helpful
- You must be able to communicate complex subjects in a simple manner
- You should understand the challenges faced by retailers and running a business
- You must be a problem solver and able to find creative solutions to complex issues
- You must manage your time effectively and be able to handle multiple tasks
- You must be able to work collaboratively with the team and embrace the occasional "grind"
- You must be able to provide context to data-driven insights
Qualifications
- Spanish speaking is a plus
- Experience in tech startups is a plus
- Experience in chat or phone-based customer service is a plus
- Experience in retail or restaurant operations is a plus
