About the role

The Thrive Customer Care Team helps retailers and merchants navigate our robust inventory management and reporting tools. This role requires a strong support background and a passion for helping businesses succeed.

Responsibilities

  • Answer customer inquiries via live chat, email, phone, and video calls
  • Provide technical assistance and guidance to customers
  • Assist with billing, setup, and semi-technical questions
  • Grow and contribute to the development of the product

Requirements

  • This is a part-time position requiring 25 hours per week, typically 5 hours a day Monday through Friday, with the option to work until 7 PM ET
  • Prior experience in customer service is helpful
  • You must be able to communicate complex subjects in a simple manner
  • You should understand the challenges faced by retailers and running a business
  • You must be a problem solver and able to find creative solutions to complex issues
  • You must manage your time effectively and be able to handle multiple tasks
  • You must be able to work collaboratively with the team and embrace the occasional "grind"
  • You must be able to provide context to data-driven insights

Qualifications

  • Spanish speaking is a plus
  • Experience in tech startups is a plus
  • Experience in chat or phone-based customer service is a plus
  • Experience in retail or restaurant operations is a plus
