About the role
The Thrive Customer Care Team assists retailers and merchants with their inventory management and reporting tools. This position requires strong communication skills and a passion for helping customers achieve their business goals.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers via live chat, email, phone, and video calls.
- Provide support for billing questions, technical issues, setup questions, and more.
- Offer creative solutions to complex problems while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Manage multiple tasks and responsibilities effectively.
- Work collaboratively with the team and respect differing opinions.
- Identify and implement ways to improve processes and workflows.
- Understand and address customer needs by asking probing questions to uncover the full picture.
Requirements
- This is a part-time position requiring 25 hours per week, preferably 5 hours per day Monday through Friday, with the option to work until 7 PM ET.
- Excellent written communication skills are essential.
- A background in retail or restaurant operations is beneficial.
- Ability to solve problems creatively and efficiently.
- Experience in tech startups or customer service is a plus.
- Spanish fluency is a bonus.
- Experience in phone or chat-based customer service is advantageous.
