Part-Time CT Technologist

About the role

We are seeking a skilled CT Tech to operate CT scanners for diagnostic imaging, prepare and position patients, ensure image quality, and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images of bones, organs, and tissues
• Prepare and explain procedures to patients, ensuring safety and comfort
• Set technical parameters for accurate imaging
• Provide high-quality images for radiologist interpretation
• Maintain equipment and troubleshoot as needed
• Follow radiation safety standards and hospital policies
• Document patient and procedural information accurately
• Communicate effectively with medical team and patients
• Perform other duties within the scope of practice

Qualifications and skills

• One year of recent CT technologist experience
• Valid radiology license per state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Preferred ARRT certification
• Critical thinking, interpersonal, technical, and motor skills
• Ability to read and follow instructions, work under pressure, and maintain professionalism
• Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients
