About the role
We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to operate CT scanners for diagnostic imaging.
Responsibilities
- Operating CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bodies
- Preparing and positioning patients, explaining procedures, and ensuring safety and image quality
- Following imaging protocols and safety standards, including radiation safety
- Maintaining equipment, troubleshooting issues, and documenting procedures accurately
- Collaborating with radiologists and healthcare professionals to deliver diagnostic services
- Adapting to different equipment and protocols as needed
Qualifications and skills
- At least one year of recent CT technologist experience
- Valid radiology license and current BLS certification
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients
- Proficiency in reading instructions, computer skills, and visual acuity
