Responsibilities
- Operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic images
- Prepare and position patients for CT procedures
- Set technical parameters for optimal image quality
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times
- Maintain equipment and perform routine quality checks
- Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver accurate diagnostic services
Qualifications
- Minimum one year of recent CT experience
- Valid radiology license
- Current BLS certification
- Preferred: ARRT certification
- Additional licenses as required by state/facility
Skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Technical proficiency with CT equipment and protocols
- Physical ability to handle equipment and assist patients
- Adaptability to various imaging protocols and patient needs
