About the role
We are seeking a skilled CT Tech to operate CT scanners for diagnostic imaging, prepare and position patients, and ensure high-quality images for interpretation by radiologists.
Responsibilities
- Operating CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of body tissues and organs
- Preparing patients, explaining procedures, and positioning them safely
- Setting technical parameters and adhering to safety standards
- Maintaining equipment and troubleshooting technical issues
- Documenting patient data, imaging details, and procedural information
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver accurate diagnostic services
- Performing routine equipment maintenance and safety procedures
- Adapting to different CT protocols and equipment across healthcare settings
Qualifications and skills required
- One year of recent CT technologist experience
- Valid radiology license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Critical thinking, strong interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to read, write, and operate PC systems proficiently
- Physical ability to move and position equipment and patients
- Effective teamwork and professionalism
- Visual acuity and the ability to work under pressure
