Part-Time CT Technologist

About the role

We are seeking a skilled CT Tech to operate CT scanners for diagnostic imaging, prepare and position patients, and ensure high-quality images for interpretation by radiologists.

Responsibilities

• Operating CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of body tissues and organs
• Preparing patients, explaining procedures, and positioning them safely
• Setting technical parameters and adhering to safety standards
• Maintaining equipment and troubleshooting technical issues
• Documenting patient data, imaging details, and procedural information
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver accurate diagnostic services
• Performing routine equipment maintenance and safety procedures
• Adapting to different CT protocols and equipment across healthcare settings

Qualifications and skills required

• One year of recent CT technologist experience
• Valid radiology license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Critical thinking, strong interpersonal, and communication skills
• Ability to read, write, and operate PC systems proficiently
• Physical ability to move and position equipment and patients
• Effective teamwork and professionalism
• Visual acuity and the ability to work under pressure
