About the role
Travel CT Tech responsible for operating CT scanners to produce diagnostic images, preparing and positioning patients, and collaborating with radiologists to ensure high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CT equipment to capture cross-sectional images of body tissues and organs.
- Prepare patients, explain procedures, and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Adjust technical parameters for optimal imaging and troubleshoot equipment.
- Maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
- Follow radiation safety standards and perform routine equipment maintenance.
- Adapt to different protocols and perform other duties within the scope of practice.
Qualifications & Skills
- One year of recent CT technologist experience.
- Valid radiology license and current BLS certification.
- Preferred ARRT certification; strong critical thinking, communication, and technical skills.
- Physical ability to move and position equipment and patients.
- Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure.
