About the Role

A Travel CT Tech operates CT scanners to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images, prepares and positions patients, follows imaging protocols, maintains equipment, and ensures safety standards. They collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality imaging services while providing compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CT equipment to produce detailed images for diagnosis
  • Prepare and position patients, explain procedures, and follow safety protocols
  • Adjust technical parameters for accurate imaging
  • Maintain equipment and troubleshoot issues
  • Document patient information and imaging details accurately
  • Collaborate with medical team to ensure timely diagnostic services
  • Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies

Requirements

  • Minimum one year recent experience as a CT Technologist
  • Valid Radiology license, current BLS certification
  • Preferred: ARRT Certification
  • Critical thinking, strong interpersonal skills, and effective communication
  • Physical ability to move and handle equipment
  • Proficiency in reading instructions, PC skills, and working under pressure
