Part-Time Course Assistant - FRNSC 210 - Academic Year 2026/2027
Job Description And Position Requirements
The Forensic Science Program seeks to hire part-time FRNSC 210 Course Assistants for the 2026/2027 academic year. The successful candidates will be expected to perform the following duties:
- Interact with students and facilitate learning of course material and laboratory concepts.
- Assist with creation, assessment, and grading of homework, lab exercises, lab notebooks, case folders, and mock crime scenes.
- Monitor students and their course progress.
- Other duties as assigned by instructor and/or course manager.
Requirements
- Successfully completed FRNSC 210 - Essential Practices of Forensic Science.
- Forensic Science majors or science pre-majors who will have entered the Forensic Science major by the beginning of the next academic year.
Background Checks/Clearances
Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.
